This Christmas holiday, Koggedag takes place at Schokland. During this children's afternoon on December 23, the theater performance Kogge comes to Museum Schokland, and you can craft your own Kogge.
During the performance, you’ll discover the stories behind the Hanseatic League and the Kogge, a typical ship used by the Hanseatic merchants. Thanks to the stories that emerge from the ground, centuries-old history comes to life on stage. Be prepared for a humorous and interactive theatre performance full of adventure and history! Before or after the performance, there’s plenty of time to get creative yourself. Spend the afternoon crafting your very own Kogge using recycled materials. Get creative, build, and bring your own historic ship to life! It promises to be a fun afternoon filled with history, creativity and discovery.
The children's afternoon runs from 12:00 to 16:00.
The theater performance starts at 14:00, lasts 30 minutes, and is suitable for children aged 8 and over.
