Getting married at Schokland

Looking for a unique and atmospheric location to get married? At a historic place you'll never forget? Then Schokland is the ideal spot. Schokland is a unique location and for good reason the first UNESCO World Heritage site in the Netherlands.

Authentic, romantic, and atmospheric: getting married in Schokland is a unique experience. Surrounded by the expansive polder landscape, you can say your vows in our atmospheric church. The church dates back to 1834 and is a national monument that is part of the museum. The museum grounds are freely accessible to wedding guests and provide a beautiful and charming backdrop for the wedding ceremony. The church can accommodate up to eighty people.

It is also possible to get married in the evening after the museum has closed. You will have the entire grounds to yourselves!

The rates include VAT and exclude fees.

Parking

Due to its convenient location, Museum Schokland is easily accessible, and you can park in our own parking lot.

Catering

It is also possible to extend your wedding with a reception or dinner at Restaurant Schokland. This can be held inside the restaurant, in the church, but - weather permitting - also under our majestic chestnut tree with a beautiful view.
