Set out this autumn holiday and come to the Prehistory Day at Schokland. This afternoon filled with activities for children takes place on Wednesday, October 14th from 12:00 to 16:00 and is entirely focused on prehistory.
During the active workshop 'Save Yourself in Nature', the children will get hands-on. They will learn how to make fire, discover how to tie useful knots, and try out for themselves how to purify water. So, no sitting still: sleeves will be rolled up and you'll learn how to survive in nature! The children can also craft their own fossil. This way, they playfully discover how fossils are formed while being creatively engaged. In short, an afternoon full of exploration, activity, and adventure! The workshops are ongoing, so you can join in and participate throughout the afternoon.
The Prehistory Day is free for children up to 11 years old.
A maximum of 4 children per adult is allowed.
