Schokker Blues Festival
On Sunday 23 August, the Schokker Blues Festival takes over Schokland. Enjoy an afternoon and evening filled with raw guitar sounds, soulful vocals and irresistible grooves, featuring five outstanding acts across two stages.
Richville will open the festival with unpolished Delta blues and funky New Orleans rhythms. They will be followed by the energetic blues rock of The Woods and an intimate solo performance by British singer and guitarist Sean Webster. Erwin Java, joined by vocalist Robbert Fossen, will pay tribute to Harry ‘Cuby’ Muskee and his Blizzards. The Blue Train Bluesband will round off the evening with blues classics and songs by artists including John Mayall, Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Beth Hart and Joe Bonamassa.
